PORT ANGELES — The city of Port Angeles has closed a portion of the Olympic Discovery Trail through May 16 to repair trail surfaces and shoreline armoring.
The trail will be closed between Lee’s Creek and Morse Creek, according to a press release.
The trail was damaged in 12 places during a winter storm in 2024 and the repair expenses are expected to be reimbursed by a previously accepted disaster relief grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, city representatives said.
