PORT ANGELES — Overnight lane closures on U.S. Highway 101 east of Port Angeles will continue this week.
Westbound lane closures will be located between Del Guzzi Drive and Baker Street and the eastbound lane closures will be located between Monroe Road and Brook Avenue. The lanes will be closed at 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and will reopen at 7 a.m. the following morning, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Traffic will be maintained in both directions at all times, WSDOT said.
The lane closures will allow contractor crews to perform utility work in preparation for an upcoming fish barrier removal project on Highway 101 at Lees and Ennis creeks.
The work is weather-sensitive and could be rescheduled.
