Joint meetings

The Clallam County commissioners will conduct a special, joint meeting with the Port of Port Angeles commissioners at 11 a.m. Monday.

The hybrid meeting will be at the port commission offices, 338 W. First St., Port Angeles.

Agenda items include the county’s comprehensive plan, a presentation and annual report from Karen Alfeld regarding the North Olympic Development Council and a call to action from the Economic Development Council.

The Clallam County commissioners will also conduct a special joint meeting with the Quileute Tribal Council at 1 p.m. Friday be at 90 Main St., La Push.

Clallam County Commissioners

The three Clallam County commissioners will open bids for the removal of debris from the Dungeness off-channel reservoir site during their weekly business meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The commissioners’ work session scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday has been canceled.

• A resolution authorizing the usage of $2,510,765.24 in Local Assistance and Tribal Consistency Funds awarded by the American Rescue Plan Act for the assessor’s office, $597,440.85; the auditor’s office, $407,011.17; the treasurer, $166,992.34; non-departmental spending, $376,115,34; information technology, $304,209.29; human resources $86,375.88; geographic information systems, $78,350.97; and parks, fair and facilities, $494,269.40.

• A resolution authorizing usage of $85,810.40 in State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds awarded by the American Rescue Plan Act to pay eligible public safety personnel costs paid in 2025 under the revenue loss eligible use category of funding.

• An agreement with the state’s Administrative Office of the Courts for a $16,000 grant to fund Living In Families Together court programs.

• Agreement with Washington Initiative for Supported Employment for $90,000 to provide training and technical assistance to support the implementation of the Washington State County Services for Working Age Adult Policy.

• An interlocal agreement with Kitsap Public Health District, Jefferson Public Health and the state Department of Health regarding shared services if a local health officer position is vacant.

• A memorandum of agreement with Clallam Conservation District for $60,000 to provide conservation planning and implementation.

• An amended agreement with Parks, Fair and Facilities to extend the completion date for a project funded with 2024 Lodging Tax funds.

• Resolutions adopting budget revisions, reductions and supplemental appropriations.
