QUILCENE — Department of Transportation maintenance crews will replace a damaged culvert under U.S. Highway 101 near Quilcene on Wednesday and Thursday.
The construction site is between Crocker Lake and Boulton Farms Road, south of the interchange with state Highway 104.
Drivers can expect single-lane alternating traffic controlled by flaggers.
The existing culvert will be replaced by a wider, more durable culvert that will allow improved water flow under the roadway.
According to a press release, this work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled.
