It will take about a month before Clallam County gets the bill for private investigations into misconduct in the Sheriff’s Office.
Marge Upham, county director of personnel and risk management, said attorney Jill Dinse of Portland, Ore., first must bill the county’s labor law firm, Bullard, Smith, Jernstedt and Wilson.
The firm will then bill the county.
Dinse conducted three investigations into misconduct at the Clallam County Sheriff’s Department that were released last week.
