Beekeeping class slated for Saturday

PORT TOWNSEND — The East Jefferson Beekeepers Association will conduct an online beekeeping class beginning Saturday.

Two prerecorded lectures will be posted each week through April 11 for self-paced study.

The course, which is designed to help attendees establish their own honey bee hive, includes practical information and beekeeping techniques as well as classes on bee biology and behavior.

The course is free to members of the association.
