I have been around Clallam County Fire District 3 my whole life.
First as a volunteer, then as career staff, retiring as captain in 2011.
Before that I was a volunteer with the city of Sequim fire department prior to the merger in the early eighties.
Before that my dad was a longtime volunteer with the city fire department.
This community’s fire department is in my blood.
While I am retired now, I still check in at the fire department all of the time.
I have seen many chiefs, commissioners, and firefighters come and go.
I can honestly say few, if any, firefighters have impressed me more than Bill Miano.
He has been a volunteer with District 3 and is now running for commissioner.
He has a strong work ethic, knows the job well, has successfully written grants for increase in staffing, and knows people work hard and pay taxes — and that money should not be wasted.
This election please vote for Bill Miano. He is exactly what Clallam County Fire District 3 needs right now.
