LETTER: We, owners of SugarPuss, apologize if our ‘found’ posters offended

I appreciate everyone who was concerned for the safety of our cat, SugarPuss, when she was lost for over five weeks.

As our classified ad said, she came home on April 21.

The day she returned, we chose to modify our neighborhood posters to announce that she was safely home.

If the two “found” posters — still up as of last week — offended anyone, we apologize.

Our hope had been to make everyone concerned happy.

All posters have been removed now, and the neighborhood is back to normal.

Ronald O’Kelly and Artie Stone,

Sequim

EDITOR’S NOTE: SugarPuss was the focus of several rants and raves in the Peninsula Daily News’ regular Sunday Commentary page feature “Rants & Raves.”
