LETTER: No on initiatives

In November, we will be faced with four truly horrible ballot initiatives.

The future of our state depends on a resounding no vote on all four.

I-2109 would reduce taxes on a tiny number of the richest Washingtonians and result in severe cuts in childcare, education and other services.

I-2117 would kill Washington’s Climate Commitment Act. It would destroy our efforts to protect our children’s future by cutting carbon pollution, and it would slash critical programs that help working people and our communities.

I-2124 would strip over 3 million workers of their long-term benefits.

I-2066 would serve only the big fossil fuel companies and gut local control over our energy choices.

These initiatives were written and funded by a hedge fund millionaire and corporate attack dogs, who designed them to confuse you and line their own pockets.

They will hurt the citizens of Clallam County by cutting services, hurting working people and walking away from our commitments to our children and grandchildren.

Don’t be fooled.

Protect Washington from these dangerous initiatives with your no vote on all four.
