We all want representatives who are able to develop productive solutions to community challenges rather than rely on fear, negativity and stigmatization as the answer.
We additionally need representatives who demonstrate they have done their homework, are able to answer the questions asked of them, and have a clear understanding of how local government works.
Unlike her opponent, Port Angeles City Council candidate Navarra Carr has shown she will be that kind of representative for our community.
Carr has clearly defined how to leverage community assets to develop solutions and is ready to bring a balanced approach that reaches across divides.
Additionally, she will bring her finance and administrative expertise to the table as she serves as a steward of our city budget.
