Harmonica Pocket to perform at Sequim, PA and Forks libraries

The Harmonica Pocket will perform free at the Sequim, Port Angeles and Forks public libraries.

The Port Townsend duo will appear first at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, followed by the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., at 6:30 p.m. that day.

They will put on a third show at the Forks Library, 171 Forks Ave., at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9.

When The Harmonica Pocket takes the stage, audiences are taken on a musical adventure filled with song, dance and even a bit of theatrics, according to a news release.

Their interactive show gets children and adults laughing, singing and moving in their seats, organizers said.

The Harmonica Pocket presents performances incorporating unexpected props, acoustic instruments, hula hoops and spinning flags.

Shows are sprinkled with wah-wah guitar, ukuleles, sweet vocal harmony, a looping pedal, percussion and harmonicas.

They also may whip out their “Hinklehorns” — invented instruments which are part kazoo and part plumbing fixtures.
