PORT TOWNSEND — Kevin Ayesh will perform “Autumn Sonata — Autumn Rhapsody” during a Candlelight Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The series, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 609 Taylor St. in Port Townsend, also will be simulcast on KPTZ FM 91.9 and stream at www.trinityumcpt.org.
The concert is free, although a donation of $15 per person is requested.
Half of the proceeds will go to Olympic Neighbors, an organization that creates homes and community for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Masks are encouraged for in-person attendees.
Ayesh will open with Beethoven’s Sonata in B-flat Major, Opus 22, followed by Brahms’ Intermezzo in A Major, Opus 118.
The program will conclude with Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, in celebration of the rhapsody’s centennial.
Ayesh has performed in all 50 states as well as Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia.
Internationally, he has performed in Canada, England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and Hong Kong.
