New doctor joins orthopedic clinic at Jefferson Healthcare

PORT TOWNSEND — Jefferson Healthcare has announced that Dr. Joseph Meyerson has joined its orthopedic clinic.

Meyerson is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in hand and wrist surgery.

He graduated from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and completed residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery there.

He also has completed a fellowship in hand and wrist surgery at Baylor University in Dallas.

According to a press release, Meyerson also will work closely with the oncology and wound clinics to provide plastic and reconstructive services for patients with acute and chronic wound issues and skin cancer or breast cancer reconstruction.
