PORT TOWNSEND — Wild Rose Chorale will perform “It’s a Celebration” at 7 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Sunday.

The a cappella performances will be at Trinity United Methodist Church, 609 Taylor St., Port Townsend.

Admission is by a suggested donation of $20 at the door.

The choral group has been performing on the North Olympic Peninsula since 1992.

“This year, we seem to have more range than ever, from modern Broadway songs with vocal percussion, to classic a cappella harmonies, and even an original arrangement by one of our members,” said Doug Rodgers, a bass singer with the group.

This program will begin with a version of “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang and include folk, jazz, a Burt Bacharach song, Beatles charts, show tunes, songs from contemporary movies such as “The Greatest Showman” and “Barbie” and a Wild Rose rendition of “Old MacDonald.”
