Showed compassion

Kudos to Captain Ben Stamper, of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, who was willing to inform my sister and me of our brother’s death due to a senseless act of violence.

While it may have been because he has known us for more than 50 years, he still showed compassion and integrity and is a credit to the sheriff’s office and to his profession.
