PORT ANGELES — The final three performances of “The Taming of the Shrew,” this year’s Shakespeare in the Woods production, are this weekend.

Lovers of theater are invited to catch at least one in the Webster’s Woods meadow at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, 1203 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

Showtime for “Taming” is 6 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so patrons are encouraged to come early with picnics, blankets, lawn chairs and warm clothes for the cool evenings. Glass containers and pets aren’t permitted.

Admission is free as always, with donations appreciated.

Anna Andersen and Randy Powell star as Kate and Petruchio in this comedy about women and men learning to love and live together.

Pat Owens, Josh Sutcliffe, Breanna Schafer-Murphy and Riley Baermann are also part of the ensemble.
