Open house on Hood Canal Bridge in Port Townsend tonight

The State Department of Transportation will hold its second public open house on the proposed Hood Canal Bridge summer closures tonight at The Commons at Fort Worden State Park.

The 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. session will be similar to the open house held Monday night at Port Angeles City Hall.

Transportation is soliciting public feedback to two three-day closure periods for the floating bridge this summer.

Current proposals have the bridge out over two weekends in August.
