Vintage cars poured into Port Angeles Friday for the 25th edition of the Ruddell Cruise In.

The Cruise In, which had to skip a year in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was the kickoff for a weekend rally of the Old Timers Car Club from Bremerton, which co-hosted the Cruise In with Howie Ruddell, Ruddell Auto owner.

The car club’s weekend, which had the theme of “Grease” — featured a Saturday Rod Run with a barn dance and meal in the evening at the Clallam County Fairgrounds.

Ruddell said that more than 2,500 people came to the Cruise In for live music, a dunk tank, food and, of course, myriad vintage automobiles from all over the North Olympic Peninsula and beyond.
