LETTER: War with Iran would add debt, maimed and dead

The New York Times reported that between 1985 and 1994, Donald Trump lost more money than almost any other U.S. citizen, with multiple bankruptcies exceeding $1.17 billion in value.

If he takes us into war with Iran, he’ll add a bankrupted nation, ours, to his sordid list.

Iran is three times the size of Iraq and has a population about twice that of Iraq.

Brown University researchers estimate the Iraq war to have cost $1.7 trillion with an additional $490 billion in benefits owed to war veterans.

How many dead and maimed?
