LETTER: Supports FLASH curriculum in Port Angeles schools

Supports FLASH program

I strongly support the FLASH curriculum and the recently defeated Port Angeles School District capital levy, so I disagree with the letter titled “Nix levy, FLASH” that was published in the Peninsula Daily News’ Jan. 31 edition.

The letter references statements made at a School Board meeting by now former member Susan Schotthafer.

I was also at that meeting, and I remember that the chair of the School Board, who is a medical doctor, rebutted all of Ms. Schotthafer’s major points.
