Port Angeles High School to host College Night tonight

PORT ANGELES — Information about college and high school senior graduation will be presented at Port Angeles High School tonight.

The College Information Night is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 8:35 p.m. beginning in the student center at the high school at 304 E. Park Ave.

It is open to high school students of all grade levels, their parents and guardians, and anyone interested in learning more about future college opportunities.

After a welcome in the student center, sessions are scheduled from 7:09 p.m. to 7:39 p.m., from 7:42 p.m. to 8:12 p.m. and from 8:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.

Participants can choose three topics from five different presenters.

Topics and speakers are:

■ Technical colleges — Patricia Chase of Bates Technical College, Room 113.

■ Public four-year colleges — Kara Lindberg of Washington State University, band room.

■ Two-year colleges — Shelby Eggert of Peninsula College, orchestra room

■ Scholarship notebook — Jeani Hill, PAHS scholarship notebook coordinator, Room 106.

■ Financial aid — Amy Williamson and Rachel Lee of Peninsula College financial aid office, Room 105.

■ Senior timeline and general questions — Lori Esget, retired high school counselor, Room 110.
