Contra dance set tonight at Black Diamond Community Hall in Port Angeles

PORT ANGELES — A rare Tuesday contra dance will fill the Black Diamond Community Hall, 1942 Black Diamond Road, with music and motion tonight, and dancers of all levels are encouraged to join in.

Internationally touring dance caller Colin Hume will team up with the Rosewind Country Dance Band, starting with a beginners’ workshop and refresher at 7 p.m. and the full-on dance at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is by donation, with $9 requested for adults and $4 for youth, or dancers can bring refreshments to share during the break.
