Port Angeles father to attend services for son killed in Iraq war

Port Angeles resident Brian Reiss is in Chattanooga, Tenn., today, where he will attend the burial of his son, Marine Sgt. Brendon S. Reiss, killed in the Iraq war.

Sgt. Reiss was killed in action March 23 when his unit was ambushed near Nasiriyah, Iraq.

Sgt. Reiss will receive full military honors during the graveside service at Chattanooga National Cemetery, Brian Reis’s wife, Carol, said Thursday.

Sgt. Reiss and his wife, Tensley, lived in Chattanooga, Mrs. Reiss said.
