Here’s a calendar of some of the Halloween activities on the Peninsula. A full report appears in Peninsula Spotlight in the Friday/Saturday Peninsula Daily News, on sale throughout Clallam and Jefferson counties:

Friday, Oct. 26

Halloween Carnival — Game booths, bingo, food, cake walk, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Queen of Angels Catholic School gym, 209 W. 11th St., Port Angeles. Free admission, game tickets four for $1.

Friday Night at the Cafe — Pumpkin painting, food, entertainment by Little Bill and the Bluenotes, noon to 8 p.m., Café Café, 755 W. Washington St., Sequim.

Halloween Party — Sponsored by Port Hadlock-Tri-Area Chamber of Commerce, 7 p.m., Old Alcohol Plant, 211 Alcohol Loop Road, Port Hadlock. Costume contest (with prizes), finger food, music by Gypsy Joy Ride. Admission $15, two for $25.

Haunted House — 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Rainforest Arts Center, 35 N. Forks Ave., Forks.

Saturday, Oct. 27

Halloween Party — For children age 12 and younger, games, crafts, costume contest, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Elks Lodge, 941 Merchant Road, Forks.

Halloween Harvest Party — Sponsored by Silver Spurs 4-H Club; witches” cavern, games, pinatas, treats for whole family, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Black Diamond Community Hall, 1942 Black Diamond Road, Port Angeles.

Harvest Carnival — For children ages 1 to 5 and their families, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. YMCA Teen Scene, 325½ W. Second St., Port Angeles. $1 admission, or food for Food Bank.

Haunted House — 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for younger children; 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Rainforest Arts Center, 35 N. Forks Ave., Forks.

Sunday, Oct. 28

All In All Animal Ball — Costume dance party (come as your favorite animal); children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., The Palindrome, 1891 S. Jacob Miller Road, Port Townsend; $4 admission.

Tuesday, Oct. 30

Halloween Concert — Students from Blue Heron Middle School and Port Townsend High School orchestra, 7:30 p.m., PT High School auditorium, 1500 Van Ness St., Port Townsend. $3 in costume, $5 not in costume.

Wednesday, Oct. 31

Downtown Trick or Treat — 2 p.m. to closing at Port Angeles downtown businesses; 4 p.m. kids’ parade, beginning at Bank of America, 734 Water St., Port Townsend, followed by trick-or-treating in Port Townsend downtown businesses.

Halloween Carnival — 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sequim Boys and Girls Club, 400 Fir St.

Harvest Festival — Games, dinner for whole family, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Faith Lutheran Church, Fourth and Cedar streets, Sequim; friendly costumes please. Donations accepted for Sequim Food Bank.

Trick or Treat — 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Park View Villas, 1430 Park View Lane, Port Angeles; 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Crestwood Convalescent Center, 1116 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

Pumpkin Patch Bash — Games, prizes, pony rides, food for the whole family; friendly costumes only. 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., King’s Way Foursquare Church, 1023A Kitchen-Dick Road, Sequim.

Haunted House — 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Rainforest Arts Center, 35 N. Forks Ave., Forks.

Today and Saturday

Tours of the Helmcken House — Ghostly stories and skeletons in the closet, 10 Elliot Square, behind the British Columbia Museum, 8 p.m.

Today through Oct. 31

“The Fall of the House of Usher” — Craigdarroch Castle, 1050 Joan Crescent. 250-592-5323 for schedule and tickets.

Tales of a Haunted House — Tour of the Point Ellice House, 2616 Pleasant St., which claims to be haunted by the most ghosts of any location in the city; 250-380-6506 for tickets.
