Jingle Jazz Returns with tribute to Vince Guaraldi

PORT ANGELES — Jingle Jazz will return to Peninsula College’s Little Theater at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The Ediz Hook Shoreline Restoration project, conducted by Western Marine Construction, Inc. in conjunction with the Navy Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Northwest, is designed to return a section of shoreling on the harborside section of the hook to its former condition with the removal of an area formerly used for maintining fish pens in Port Angeles Harbor.

Brian King, the chief criminal deputy for the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, is among more than 100 volunteers from a dozen agencies to participate in the Shop with a Hero program at Wal-Mart in Port Angeles. About 80 kids from the community got to go on a shopping spree with law enforcement officers from Port Angeles, Sequim and other agencies and spend $100 however they wished.
