It was a full house with 1,600 tickets sold for the demolition derby at the Clallam County Fair on Sunday. Here, No. 115 Dylan Pieze and No. 85 Zach Bratcher put a big hit on No. 13 Ryan Michaeu of Forks in the demolition derby Sunday evening at the Clallam County Fair.

Also, the 12-team season play of the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Summer Adult Softball League started at the beginning of June and ended last week with a double elimination tournament. In season play, Grinder took first place and then lost in the tournament to HansenCraft after HansenCraft came up from the losing bracket to win the championship game 16-5 over the Grinders. The championship HansenCraft are, from left, Bob Bainbridge, Sally Dankert, Christopher Bainbridge, Eoin Hartnett, coach Tina Bainbridge, Chris MacDonald, scorekeeper Dan Dankert, Dana Madison, Dusty Larson, Jessica Larson, Kate Larson, Nehemiah Killam, Erin Bainbridge, Paul Bainbridge. In front are sponsers Kevin and Beth Hansen. Not in the photo are Carla Halvorson and Lane Dotson.
