Sports: Rosencrants hurls perfect game in win over Forks

SEQUIM — Jessica Rosencrants pitched a perfect game in leading the Sequim Wolves to an 8-0 nonleague fastpitch victory over the Forks Spartans on Saturday.

Rosencrants struck out 12 and had no walks or hits in the seven-inning game.

The Wolves had no errors as they scored one run in the second inning, one in the third and six in the fifth.

Taria Hendrickson went 2-for-3 with a double for Sequim while Molly Fletcher went 1-for-3 with an RBI and Hannah Yamamoto was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

Also, Katy Heins went 2-for-3, Ashley Lowe-Tharns had a double and three RBIs while Yolanda Chin hit a triple, Rosencrants had an RBI and Kendra Kokroa went 1-for-2.
