Slowpitch softball registration
PORT ANGELES — Sign-ups for the Port Angeles Parks & Recreation Department’s men’s and women’s slowpitch softball leagues is underway.
Sign-up forms are available at the Parks and Recreation office, 308 E. Fourth St..
Teams must be registered by Friday, April 17.
Cost is $525 per team, plus an individual player fee.

Sea Hawkers meet
SEQUIM — The Olympic Peninsula Sea Hawkers will give away an autographed team football at its chapter meeting Thursday.
The meeting is set for the 7th Street Steakhouse, behind the Sequim McDonalds at 271 S. Seventh Ave., at 6:30 p.m.
Group members will discuss upcoming events like the annual Sea Hawkers banquet in Renton, the Richard Sherman Celebrity Softball Tournament, an all-chapter barbecue and Seahawks training camp.
Membership is open to any resident of the Olympic Peninsula.
Meetings alternate each month between Port Angeles and Sequim.

Senior softball
SEQUIM — The Sequim Grey Wolves senior softball league is seeking men age 55 and older and women 50 and older to participate in recreational softball play.
More than 50 members from all over the North Olympic Peninsula meetat Carrie Blake Park in Sequim every Tuesday and Thursday with warmup at 8:30 a.m., batting practice at 9 a.m. and games beginning at 10 a.m.
Every skill level is welcome
to participate.
There also is a competitive tournament team that travels and plays in senior softball events like the Washington State Senior Games and the Olympic Peninsula Senior Games.
In October, the group will travel to St. George, Utah to compete in the World Senior Games.
