SPORTS BRIEF: Peninsula College Youth Summer basketball league begins June 26

PORT ANGELES — The Peninsula College Youth Basketball Summer League begins June 26 and runs through July 31. It’s open to boys and girls grades fourth through sixth.

Practice and games are Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Peninsula College gym. For more information and to register, please visit: portangelesboysbasketball.siplay.com or email drollman@pencol.edu.

The first half of each session will focus on players coming together and working on individual skill development. The second half will focus on multiplayer skills, some team skills and games.

All coaching and instruction is provided by the Peninsula College men’s basketball coaches.

Cost is $100, which includes a jersey and t-shirt.
