SPORTS: Bishop Blanchet beats Sequim in girls basketball competition Tuesday night

SEATTLE — The Sequim girls basketball team struggled on the road against Bishop Blanchet in nonleague action Tuesday night.

Bishop Blanchet ran away from the Wolves early, leading 16-4 at the end of the first quarter and 28-11 at the break.

Eight of nine players scored for Bishop with Lauren Martin leading the way with 14 points.
