Though Zingaro won the match, the Roughriders won as a team as their doubles’ teams won all four of their matches. With the win, Port Angeles is tied for first in the Olympic League.

SEQUIM — After three straight 7-0 wins, the Port Angeles tennis team had to work hard to fend off a game Sequim squad 4-3 as the Riders’ doubles teams swept four matches.

The Wolves swept all three singles’ matches behind Nico Zingaro, Ryan Tolberd and Connor Bear, putting the Riders at a 3-0 deficit entering doubles’ play.
