PORT TOWNSEND — The SplinterGroup is currently accepting applications for its 2019 Woodworkers Show.
The annual show will be held Nov. 2-3 at the American Legion Hall, 209 Monroe St.
Furnituremakers, cabinetmakers, boatbuilders, instrumentmakers, bowmakers, turners, carvers and other woodworkers in Port Townsend are encouraged to submit their applications by Sunday, Sept. 1.
Criteria for applying include well-crafted original designs and no kits or commercially available plans.
Applications will be lightly juried, winning applicants will be notified by Friday, Sept. 20.
Entrants will be charged $75 for a 5-foot-by-5-foot display.
First-time entrants may submit 0ne or two small pieces, with a display footprint of 30-inch-by-30-inch or less, for a $15 fee.
No commission will be taken on work sold at the show.
Winning applicants will be announced Friday, Sept. 20.
