WEEKEND: Bazaars offer unique ideas for North Olympic Peninsula holiday gift givers (* CORRECTED *)

EDITOR’S NOTE: This article has been corrected to show that the 11th annual Lavender Holiday Bazaar will be on Friday, Nov. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 30. It is NOT this weekend.

Shopping for the holidays is in full swing, with holiday bazaars offered across the Peninsula this weekend.

PORT ANGELES

Holiday market set

PORT ANGELES — Works by local artists will be on exhibit and for sale at the Holiday World Marketplace at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 510 E. Park Ave., from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Susan Kroll, Melissa Spaulding and Janice Dotson will have works of weaving, felting and other fiber arts.

Donna Standerwick will show pottery, and Jeff Becker and Linda Parcell are jewelers who will attend with their work.

In addition, Cabled Fiber Studio will have yarn from around the world, and Leilani Wood will sell fresh, handmade wreaths.

A portion of the proceeds from artists and vendors will be donated to Volunteers in Medicine of the Olympics.

Crafters bazaar

PORT ANGELES — The annual Crafts Unlimited Bazaar is set at the Camp Fire Clubhouse, 619 E. Fourth St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Saturday.

The event will feature 12 crafters selling handwoven rugs, jewelry, scrubbies, wooden and hand-painted items, pottery, children’s gifts and breads, cookies and candies.

SEQUIM

Christmas Lane Fair

SEQUIM — More than 40 local crafters will offer their handiwork at the Christmas Lane Fair at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Chili, soup and pie will be available at the Holly Daze Cafe. There also will be a bake table.

Proceeds help fund Trinity’s community programs.

Yuletide bazaar

SEQUIM — A Yuletide Bazaar hosted by Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church, 925 N. Sequim Ave., is planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Holiday decorations, handcrafted gifts, baked goods and gifts for the garden and pets will be available.

Christmas bazaar

SEQUIM — A Christmas bazaar is set at Faith Lutheran Preschool, 354 W. Cedar St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Handcrafted gifts and baked goods will be available, plus warm lunch items.

Holiday bazaar

SEQUIM — The Sequim Guild of Seattle Children’s Hospital will host its annual holiday bazaar Saturday.

The bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sequim Prairie Grange hall at 290 Macleay Road.

Crafts, music and food are planned.

Proceeds go to Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Lavender bazaar

SEQUIM — The 11th annual Lavender Holiday Bazaar is set for two days, Friday, Nov. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 30.

The bazaar will be from1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29 and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 in the SunLand ballroom at 109 Hilltop Drive.

It is hosted by the nonprofit Sequim Lavender Growers Association, one of two lavender groups in Sequim.

Members of the association will sell gift items.

Along with gift items involving lavender, there will be raffles for baskets and a quilt made by the Sequim Sunbonnet Sue organization.

The baskets raffle proceeds will go to Toys for Tots, and the quilt raffle revenue will go to Sequim High School scholarships.

Photos with Santa also will be offered.

Homemade soups and sandwiches will be available Saturday.

Emblem club bazaar

FORKS — The Forks Emblem Club No. 488 will host its annual holiday bazaar Saturday.

The bazaar will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Forks Elks Lodge, 941 Merchants Road.

CLALLAM BAY

Bazaar, tree-lighting

CLALLAM BAY — Clallam Bay-Sekiu Lions and the Community Crafters will host an annual community bazaar today and Saturday.

The bazaar runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Clallam Bay-Sekiu Lions Den on Bogachiel Way.

The bazaar will include arts and crafts, a bake sale and lunch for purchase.

The Christmas tree will be lit by Santa at 6 p.m. Saturday, with refreshments, live music and a group sing-along.
