Walking along the Elwha River

Maiah Taitingfong, 11, picks her way through a boulder field along the Elwha River in Olympic National Park on Saturday, followed by her grandmother, Lovena Taitingfong, and mother, Janee Taitingfong, all of Bremerton. The trio was taking advantage of a sunny afternoon on the first weekend of the spring season.
