PORT ANGELES — Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County will conduct a Community Education and Volunteer Training series from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays from July 8 to Aug. 12.
The course will be held in the conference room at 829 E. Eighth St., Suite B.
The 12-hour course reviews the history and philosophy behind hospice care, discusses attitudes toward death and dying, explores the grieving process and trains volunteers so they can provide services through VHOCC.
There is no charge for the training but space is limited to allow for physical distancing so pre-registration is required.
Participants will be required to wear masks during classes.
