The National Weather Service today issued the following alert, which includes forests and rangelands on the West End of the Olympic Peninsula as well as East Jefferson County from Chimacum south along Hood Canal.

Dan Willis of Port Townsend, a docent at the Point Wilson Lighthouse at Fort Worden State Park, conducts a tour for interested visitors on Thursday.
