Wastewater Treatment Plant Outstanding Performance awarded
SEQUIM — The city of Sequim water reclamation facility has been recognized by the state’s Department of Ecology for compliance with its national pollutant discharge elimination system permit during 2019.
According to a press release, only 125 of the 300 wastewater treatment systems in the state earned the Wastewater Treatment Plant Outstanding Performance award for full permit compliance throughout 2019.
This is the sixth consecutive year that the city of Sequim has received this award.
