SEQUIM — The Sequim city council is seeking volunteers to fill two vacancies on its planning commission.
Applicants, who must be residents of Sequim, will serve four-year terms that end Dec. 31, 2024.
The commission advises the council on plans, policies, regulations, and capital spending related to growth and development, it may also conduct proceedings on specific land use applications, such as subdivisions.
Applications are available online at www.sequimwa.gov and must be returned, with a letter of interest and a resume, to Sara McMillon, the city clerk, at smcmillon@sequimwa.gov or to the Sequim City Clerk’s Office, 152 West Cedar St., Sequim, WA, 98382.
Applications must be submitted by 4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18.
The commission meets at 6 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
