SEQUIM — The Sequim Guild of the Seattle Children’s Hospital will conduct its annual pie, jam and jelly sale at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15
The sale, to be held at the Pumpkin Patch Flea Market at 260045 U.S. Highway 101, will continue until supplies are exhausted.
The sale is usually held in conjunction with the Rotary Salmon Bake, but that event has been canceled due the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
All the pies, jams and jellies are made with fresh fruit in the kitchens of guild sisters; 9-inch pies will be sold for $12, 5-inch pies for $6, and jams and jellies for $5 per jar.
All proceeds go toward uncompensated care and research at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
According to a press release, Clallam County children were seen at Seattle Children’s Hospital more than 2,500 times last year.
