AMANDA PARK — Work crews from Haztech Drilling will begin geotechnical drilling along the North Shore Quinault Road on Friday, according to a National Park Service press release.
All the work will be performed within the boundaries of Olympic National Park.
Drilling will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The work is scheduled through March 30, but the closures will end as soon as the drilling has been completed.
The work will require the full closure of the road so drivers on the Quinault Loop will have to backtrack to return to U.S. Highway 101.
