PORT ANGELES — The city of Port Angeles will perform road improvements at Lincoln Park through April 21.
During the project, which started Monday, the park will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays, according to a press release.
Work crews will fix potholes and resurface the parking lots and the roads into and around the park.
Workers also will install bollards to prevent vehicles from driving off-road in order to protect tree roots from damage.
The closure will not affect youth sports, the city said. Practices and games may continue as scheduled.
The dog park will remain open during regular hours.
