SEQUIM — A 67-year-old Port Angeles woman was transported to Olympic Medical Center following a rollover wreck at the River Road exit of U.S. Highway 101.
The State Patrol said the wreck occurred at 9:46 a.m. Friday when Cherie J. Estes exited U.S. Highway 101 eastbound at the River Road exit.
An Olympic Medical Center staff member said the hospital did not have any information about Estes.
Troopers said Estes’ 1994 Jeep Wrangler left the roadway to the left, overcorrected to the right, overturned and came to rest on its roof.
No other people or vehicles were involved in the wreck, nor were alcohol or drugs reported. Estes was reportedly wearing a seat belt.
The State Patrol said the vehicle was destroyed.
Charges are pending, according to the State Patrol.
