Port Angeles graduate finishes basic military training in Texas

SAN ANTONIO — The U.S. Air Force has announced that Airman First Class Christopher B. Guttormsen has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.

Basic military training is an eight-week program that includes training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Guttormsen is the son of Oscar and Debra Guttormsen of Port Angeles.

He is a 2019 graduate of Port Angeles High School.

Sequim shifts to remote utility meters

Installation for devices began last August
