PORT TOWNSEND — A Port Angeles woman was treated and discharged from Jefferson Healthcare hospital in Port Townsend after she hit the rear of a car that had stopped for a deer crossing state Highway 20.
Sara E. Moss, 44, was traveling behind Joshua D. Thomas, 33, of Brinnon westbound at Eaglemount Road when he stopped for a deer at about 10:50 a.m. Saturday, the State Patrol said.
Moss did not stop and hit his vehicle from behind, troopers said.
Thomas was not hurt, according to the State Patrol.
Moss was cited for following too closely.
Both were wearing seat belts.
Both vehicles suffered reportable damage, the State Patrol said.
