Mail-in ballots continue to be returned to election officials in Clallam and Jefferson counties for the Nov. 6 general election.
As of Tuesday, the Clallam County Auditor’s Office had received 29.3 percent, or 8,494 ballots, of the 28,930 ballots mailed to voters.
The Jefferson County Auditor’s Office reported 40 percent, or 4,158 ballots, of the 10,376 absentee ballots have been returned so far.
Ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. Nov. 6 to drop boxes, precincts or auditor offices in the two counties.
Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before Nov. 6.
