The three Clallam County commissioners will consider awards of $220,000 in lodging tax funds to three local organizations in their weekly business meeting Tuesday.

The commissioners’ work session, at 9 a.m. Monday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Agenda items include:

• An agreement with the Department of Social and Health Services’ Developmental Disabilities Administration for $1,514,493 to continue services for persons with developmental disabilities through June 30, 2023.

• A call for a public hearing regarding the midyear review of the 2022 budget at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 19.

• A recommendation from the Department of Community Development to reject the phase 2 bid for the Lower Dungeness floodplain restoration and levee realignment project and rebid the project with a more relaxed timeline.

• Requests for entrance into the Open Space Tax Program from six property owners.

• A no-cost contract extension for the Clallam Bay – Sekiu wastewater treatment facility project.

• Opening of bids for the McDonald Creek irrigation and fish passage improvement project.

• A call for a public hearing regarding chapter 27.112 to the county forestry requirements for conversion from forestry to non-forestry use at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 5.

The three Jefferson County commissioners will conduct a public hearing on an ordinance to establish a no-shooting area in Cape George when they meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Items on the consent agenda include a contract extension through Nov. 15, 2024 for the Dosewallips River Powerlines Reach Restoration, an agreement with the Department of Children, Youths and Families for $36,155 to provide home visiting services, an agreement with Department of Ecology for $200,000 for remedial investigation and cleanup of property at 890 Old Hadlock Road, an agreement with Dustin Willis for $10,456 to provide caretaker services at H.J. Carroll Park, an interlocal agreement with the Quilcene School District for operation and maintenance of the Complete Streets project and an agreement with the Department of Transportation for detours related to fish passage improvement projects.
