PORT HADLOCK — Naval Magazine Indian Island will conduct a security training exercise Thursday, April 30.
Installation personnel and residents living in the communities surrounding Indian Island could notice increased activity on the water around the installation.
Training activities will include the presence of harbor security boats on the water, loud sirens and bright blue flashing lights.
To protect participants from COVID-19, Indian Island personnel “will comply with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Defense by implementing proper physical distancing when practicable and by wearing cloth masks,” a press release said.
