Hood Canal Bridge closures set Thursday night

SHINE — The Hood Canal Bridge on state Highway 104 will repeatedly open and close from 10 p.m. Thursday to 12:01 a.m. Friday.

Maintenance crews will conduct the openings for required annual winter storm training.

Bridge crews will allow vehicle traffic to cross the bridge about every 30 minutes, according to a state Department of Transportation press release.

Advance notices, as well as real-time bridge status, are available at www.hoodcanalbridge.com.

Bridge status also is available on the WSDOT app or at www.wsdot.com/travel/real-time/map.
