Free smoke detectors in Hendrickson Mobile Estates

SEQUIM — The American Red Cross and Hendrickson Mobile Estates will deliver and install new smoke alarms in the mobile home park on Tuesday, Jan. 14.

The free smoke alarms have batteries with a ten-year life.

Volunteers will visit homes between 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to evaluate smoke alarms and install new ones if needed.

Notices will be placed on doors in the neighborhood the week prior to the event, interested residents should ensure that someone is home to answer the door.
