First Friday lecture on how vandalism impacts art set

PORT TOWNSEND — Rosa Lowinger will present “A Brief History of Vandalism (and what conservators can do to help promote equity in public art)” at 7 p.m. today, Aug. 7.

Lowinger’s lecture is part of the Jefferson County Historical Society’s First Friday lecture series streaming on the Zoom internet meeting platform.

Lowinger will discuss the different ways in which vandalism impacts works of art and how it impacts the role of conservators in preserving art and historic buildings.

The suggested donation is $10.
